Brian started his career in public accounting working for a CPA firm for a year. Then he continued his career in the private sector for 14 years before deciding to start his own CPA firm. In the private sector he was able to gain valuable experience and knowledge while moving up the ranks from staff accountant to senior financial officer. Those 14 years spent in the private sector were with corporations in various fields of business such as, Highway Construction, Hauling, Real Estate Development, Home Building and Wholesale Distribution. This previous work experience in the private sector has been incorporated into the services offered through his CPA firm by being able to advise business clients in a number of areas of managing a business. Brian, since graduating college in 1979, has always been involved in individual tax giving him over 30 years of experience in the area.
Brian holds an active license as a Certified Public Accountant is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Brian graduated from Frostburg State University. He lives in Fallston with his wife Terry. Brian enjoys sports and the outdoors. Through out high school he played football, basketball, baseball and lacrosse. He went on to college and continued to play lacrosse. He is a member of the athletic fraternity, Kappa Zeta Chi. When his daughter discovered sports at the age of 9, soccer, he became an active member of the recreation council. He took some coaching classes and then coached soccer for about 8 years. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
